Valentina Tóth won both the jury and audience prize at the 2022 Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival. After being named the Comedy Talent of 2023 by de Volkskrant, her debut solo show Wildbloei received five-star reviews from NRC, Trouw, and de Volkskrant.

In this tragicomic, musical, and over-the-top one-woman show, Valentina explores the boundaries and clichés of the female image in our society. With a mix of opera, theater, musical, cabaret, classical music, and comedy, she brings various hysterical women to the stage: including a murderously angry victim of the child benefits scandal, a body-positive K3 starlet, and the Queen of the Night. Ultimately, the show leads to Valentina herself. Armed with a strong dose of musicality, humor, quick transitions, and larger-than-life characters, Wildbloei keeps its audience on edge and hopefully sparks some sympathy. Or alienation. Either works.
