Jokke (Jonas Van Langendonck), brings his unique blend of kleinkunst and hip-hop to De Vooruit in Ghent. The 24-year-old Leuven-based singer-songwriter gained fame on TikTok with his recognisable, cosy atmosphere and lyrics that highlight life in all its facets. His music is a refreshing combination of rhythmic storytelling and melodic influences from his former hip-hop career.

Jokke began his musical journey in the local hip-hop scene, but soon developed his own style in which stories take centre stage. His lyrics are often honest and relatable, touching on the everyday problems everyone experiences. In a subdued but powerful voice, he shares his life wisdom and experiences. Where traditional cabaret can be socially critical, Jokke brings his own vision: he inspires his audience with stories that are close but always carry a positive message.

After his tasteful performance at the AB in Brussels, he will come to Ghent in 2025 to surprise his audience again. It promises to be an evening full of emotions, humour and recognisable stories.
