The iconic Vooruit buildling is in the midst of renovation, which is taking a big bite out of our operating funds for public events and artists. The centerpiece of the renovation is the installation of a brand new elevator that should finally make the entire building accessible. Moreover, the current elevator is worn out and unreliable. Every week, people with limited mobility, artists and technicians get stuck in it. A new elevator should ensure that everyone can experience De Vooruit without obstacles.

Through the crowdfunding platform of the City of Ghent, you can contribute in exchange for one of our unique perks. All amounts are welcome.
- Starting from €35, you will receive a unique cap designed by Inessa Dobbelaere.
- Starting from €40, you have a chance to win tickets for a guided tour or a performance of your choice with or without a dinner at our Café (with/without a hotel stay).
- Starting from €55, we will place your name on the wall next to the new elevator in the entrance hall.
