Assemble your own artwork
An artwork by Kinda Ghannoum created for Palestine Café (November 2024) recently hung in the VIERNULVIER Café. Inspired by “Phobidden Colors” (1988) by Felix Gonzalez-Torres, this artwork explores how, in today's world, social media often censors information.
To work around this, people use symbols and images to communicate, like the triangle, which has become an icon representing Palestine. This piece combines these ideas, using colors and shapes to convey messages of resistance and identity without words.
This artwork was realized by Topo Copy as part of Eye On Palestine Festival. The work consists of 21 A3 RISO prints that together form a powerful whole.
The complete work can be viewed in the VIERNULVIER Café. You can create your own unique work by buying the A3's separately. Each A3 is an (art) statement!
1 A3: €20, 2 A3's: €38, 3 A3's: €54, 5 A3's: €80, 7 A3's: €103, 10 A3's: €140, 15 A3's: €200, all 21 A3's: €280.
All proceeds from the sale will go to the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund and World Central Kitchen, which provide vital assistance to Palestine children and families locally.
Je buy the prints online and pick them up at the box office of VIERNULVIER (open from Tuesday until Friday from 12:00 - 18:00).
