Gary Farrelly is an Irish visual and performance artist based in Brussels. Recurring preoccupations in his work include the built environment, institutional machines, concealed power, and magic. His practice encompasses drawing, installation, storytelling, performance, video, and experimental radio. He often works in the context of the Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence O.J.A.I., a collaborative duo with German artist Chris Dreier. He is a teacher at La Cambre in Brussels and is a recipient of a bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland.
