Platform-K explores how dancers with disabilities can exert a fundamental influence on the world of contemporary dance and imagines how this field could develop in the future. In this way the company fills a gap in the Flemish performing arts landscape. Because although Flanders is held in high esteem in the international dance scene, we are lagging behind when it comes to the inclusion in the scene of dancers with a disability. Platform-K is taking the lead in a much-needed catch-up movement.
