In the Far North, they met each other. Soetkin makes music, and Annemie writes a book. Together, they also tell a story. A story about the Far North. About falling and getting up. About taking a deep breath and moving forward. About hope and longing. About dreams and daring to dream.

In Norway, journalist and reporter Annemie Struyf begins writing her new book. She wants to share the lessons she has learned in her personal and professional life with other dreamers. Because dreams are precious and should be cherished, especially in difficult times.

Behind the piano, with a view of the Norwegian landscape, Soetkin Baptist began to dream and write. The urge to create is strong, resonating across the fjords. Soetkin explores the boundary between vulnerability, playfulness, and vocal virtuosity. In these strange times, her remarkable repertoire emerges, touching, inspiring, and connecting.

Their paths cross while creating the report series ‘Het Hoge Noorden’ for VRT 1. From this unique meeting, a poignant and vulnerable story unfolds, in both words and music. Annemie dreams and tells, Soetkin sings and plays.
