The Canadian collective Godspeed You! Black Emperor has been synonymous with epic music for over thirty years. Born from punk and political convictions, they have created a discography filled with iconic albums. Their album G_d’s Pee AT STATE'S END! (2021) once again delivers intense instrumental tracks, pulling listeners into moments of immense catharsis. Always revolutionary, the band sounds more relevant than ever, with a message about the failure of governance and the need for a new beginning. The band shuns personal exposure: no social media, no videos, and only two official band photos in 25 years. Since their comeback in 2010, they’ve released four new albums. Their ninth album, NO TITLE AS OF 13 FEBRUARY 2024 28.340 DEAD, was released on October 4, 2024.

Mat Ball is an experimental guitar player from Montreal, Canada. A founding member of the group BIG|BRAVE in existence since 2012. Over the last few years he has been quietly developing and working on solo guitar music. Very much like his work with BB, relying heavily on amplitude and feedback with a strong emphasis on minimalism and the drone.
