William Basinski is an experimental composer and classically trained musician who works with analog tape loops and obsolete technology. His melancholic soundscapes explore the impermanence of time and memory. His masterpiece, The Disintegration Loops, received global acclaim and was reissued as an award-winning box set. Together with James Elaine, he created installations and films showcased worldwide. Basinski composed music for Robert Wilson’s opera The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic. Orchestral performances of his work have been held in renowned venues like The Met and Queen Elizabeth Hall. He is currently touring with his album On Time Out of Time (2019).

Vanessa Bedoret is a London-based French violinist, vocalist, and composer. Blending her classical roots with experimental production, she crafts cinematic, emotive soundscapes. Her debut album Eyes (out March 8, 2024, via Scenic Route) earned praise from Boomkat as “a timeless bouquet of raptures and ballads” and from Fader as “sleek, avant-garde reconstructions of club music.”

Previously releasing on indie labels like Laura Lies In and Archaic Vaults, Vanessa has performed with avant-garde artists like Standing On The Corner, Kahil El’Zabar, and Linder Sterling. She also toured with Astrid Sonne in 2023-24. Solo, she’s played at venues like Café Oto and ICA, sharing stages with Lorenzo Senni, Nourished by Time, and John T. Gast. Following the acclaim of Eyes, she’s back in the studio crafting her next release.
