Nele De Gussem has delivered a downright sensational solo debut with 'The Loom of Longing' (releases februari 7 on VIERNULVIER Records): a divinely harmonious universe of mystical pop, psychedelic ambience and pulsating electronics. She now gives them full space to her sensual voice and electronic/analog instruments, which no longer fugn as cogs in the larger machine of her band Uma Chine.

The album is realized in a way that can be performed live, with Victor Verhelst as VJ. Sounds are transformed into colors; timbres merge with textures and patterns dance to the rhythm of the music, resulting in a very immersive experience in a unique set design by Belgian visual collective Spacemakers.
