Impact Gathering #15

The Impact Gatherings are a particle accelerator in Ghent for anyone who wants things to move forward, better and different. For professors and professionals, from the government or private sector, students and those who have never graduated. Before noon, you will have a head full of new ways to innovate. By the speakers on stage, but also by the people in the room. Because with your coffee, you will receive an extensive phone book of other people like you: with plans and ideas, looking for even more rolled-up sleeves.
In recent years, Valérie Carrette , ecosystem facilitator and network weaver, has met many pioneers and initiators of regenerative practices. Driven innovators who are building a society in which we align what we do and who we are with ecological systems.
Some strive for system change within existing structures, others choose a new path and build impactful (cooperative) enterprises based on other values. Freedom increases, as does their passionate commitment and pioneering power. There are days with the wind in their sails and there are moments of not knowing and taking steps on unexplored terrain.
It is exciting, sometimes difficult, but always innovative. In the spirit of Pippi Longstocking: I have never done it before, so I think I can. Occasionaly, in moments of silence and calm, the question arises: what can we do together that we cannot do alone? How can we nourish, support and strengthen each other? How do we build a resilient fabric of regenerative practices?
During this gathering we will explore together how we can co-create regenerative ecosystems.
"What can we do together that I can't do alone?"
