O.B.F is a French militant dub and reggae soundsystem based on the outskirts of Genµeve. The crew, originally consisting of producer & selector Rico, operator Genmanager Stef, broke through in the mid-2000s with their progressive dub music. Heavily influenced by the sounds of Jamaican reggae and 90's UK dub, the Original Bass Foundation began as an underground soundsystem playing primarily at squat parties and illegal raves.
