Tune In Radio Poort is a project about, by and for the Brugse Poort. In 2023 we built a mobile radio station with local residents, created from waste materials found in the area. Since then we have been travelling around the neighbourhood gathering perspectives on what community means to the people that live there and what it means to share space in a neighbourhood. We have hosted audio workshops, conversations and performances as well as listening events and broadcasts for the neighbourhood to listen back.

This spring, Tune In Radio Poort will host a workshop series focusing on the sounds of the area with a group of ___ participants. Through a variety of hands-on activities like field recordings, sound editing, interviewing and storytelling, the live showing will present how sound and soundscapes can connect us to our surroundings, cities, communities and futures.
