SACHLI GHOLAMALIZAD

Sachli Gholamalizad (°1982) is a young Flemish actress of Iranian heritage. She became known for her roles in the TV series ‘De Bunker’ and the film ‘De Helaasheid Der Dingen’. In 2013 she debuted with her first solo performance in Flemish theatres. In ‘A reason to talk’, which immediately nabbed the Circuit X prize at Theater Aan Zee 2014, she delved into her family history. The sequel ‘(Not) my paradise’ (2016) continued the story of her family and again the press was full of praise for the second part. In addition to being a Vooruit resident, Sachli is also a resident at KVS in Brussels.
