Discover the gentle side of Ghent! For 'Midnight Marsh', Malaika Cunningham, Zoë Laureen Palmer, Jennie Moran, and Keir Vine join forces. These artists all work towards the democratization of shared spaces. Together, they pool their knowledge, strengths, and experiences to transform the city into a welcoming oasis for everyone.
Through playful and inclusive interventions, they aim to embrace and celebrate a culture of unconditional hospitality. They pay special attention to those who are not always seen as full-fledged citizens, both human and more than human.
Ghent has deep roots in nature. Did you know the city was built on the softer, wilder grounds of marshes? What if we bring back this original wildness to the surface of our city? Imagine the beautiful transformations possible when we let the city flourish with warmth, connection, and inclusivity.
Already planned is a grand potluck banquet. Sounds and recipes will be exchanged. There will be time for rest and time for dancing. Join us on this adventure and help us create a moment in Ghent where everyone feels at home. Together, we can make a difference and create a radical form of hospitality at the heart of our community.
