Exxasens (ES)

Last year we took you to the roof of the world thanks to Tation’s mystical Tibetan rhythms. We knew that’d be an hard feat to beat, so this year we’re taking you to space with Exxasens’ stellar space-themed post-rock!! Heavily influenced by space imagery and literature, Exxasens have always set themselves apart as an unnamable force in the European post-rock scene thanks to their chunkier, more robust sound and their unique aesthetics. These Spaniards reached new heights with the tremendous “INFINITUM” (out on dunk!records in November) a gargantuan record filled with supper-massive bass lines, stellar guitars riffs and meteoric drum fills, with everything hitting harder than a meteorite at full speed! The album is an ode to human ingenuity and our unestinguisheable desire for discovery, and this spirit is fully incarnated sonically as well. With the addition of subtle electronic and ambient elements, Exxasens are pushing boundaries once more, and reaching a whole new level of acclaim at the speed of light!
