Khan are a psychedelic stoner metal outfit who make use of progressive riffing and atypical song structures to build trance-inducing ethereal sonicscapes. Hailing from Melbourne, these Aussies post-metallers share nothing of the sunny and jovial attitude of many of their peers, favouring a funereal marching sound, relentlessly bleak in its advance but of highly evocative character. Their songs are self-described as possessing an almost “dirge-like” industrial quality, and we can’t wait to witness these qualities’ atmospheric impact in their full glory next year!!
