Niké

This is Niké! This divine woman with an equally divine name is in charge of online communications at VIERNULVIER Arts Centre.

When Niké started working here five years ago, it was not the first time she entered De Vooruit's shop floor. In her student days, she was already a member of our student team 'Five For Students'. Yet she never expected to work here one day.

"I actually wanted to broaden my horizons and discover other things first. Before I ended up at VIERNULVIER, I worked at the Ketnet editorial department for two years. A very nice and creative workplace, but when I saw the vacancy of my current job passing by, I was immediately sold! Art and culture are a passion of mine."

Niké is working on the website every day. She makes sure it stays looking good, is structured and contains all the necessary info. She also sends service e-mails (you know, the ones informing you about the starting time of a performance) and maintains communication with our residents. The latter she finds incredibly nice.

"It's cool that you get the chance to get to know artists personally here," says Niké, who also enjoys going to see performances herself. "VIERNULVIER offers a hugely diverse programme. There is something for everyone and you can really discover things here!"

Niké finds VIERNULVIER a tremendously warm workplace.
"The VIERNULVIER Café allows you to bond with your colleagues even outside work, which is really nice! I also organise yoga classes every Wednesday morning for colleagues who want to start the day completely zen." Namasté!
