Twende Pamoja

Twende Pamoja is a musical project led by violinist and master improviser Théo Ceccaldi. He previously impressed with Kutu, a blistering ethio-trance project in which he mixes jazz with infectious rhythms, hypnotic grooves and powerful vocal lines. 

For the sound of Twende Pamoja, Ceccaldi headed to Tanzania, the land of fiery Singeli electronica - with its 300 beats per minute perhaps the wildest genre of the moment. He collaborates with Ugandan DJ, producer and dancer Faizal Mostrixx and MCs Kadilida and Aunty Rayzor, who we also know from the Ugandan collective Nyege Nyege.  They suck you into a new world where music and other art forms merge seamlessly.
