Masters of Reality

After 15 years of silence, Masters of Reality has finally released new work: the track 'Sugar', which had been shelved for years until mastermind Chris Goss found a free moment amidst his busy schedule. As the producer behind Kyuss and the first two albums of Queens of the Stone Age, Goss is undeniably a defining figure of the Californian desert rock scene. His list of collaborators is equally impressive, including Mark Lanegan, Foo Fighters, UNKLE, The Cult, Soulwax, and even Russell Crowe, just to name a few. Adding to his legacy, Goss also worked with Ginger Baker of Cream on the phenomenal album Sunrise on the Sufferbus in 1992. Named after a Black Sabbath album, Masters of Reality are true pioneers of stoner rock, blending blues, psychedelia, and progressive heavy guitar rock in a unique way. They are the true masters of the genre!
